Dynamic-Training"I first got into triathlon as a way to lose weight back in 2006. I first met Martha in 2008. Although I hadn’t yet asked her to be my coach, Martha immediately made an impact on my 2008 the local Triathlon Club track workouts as well as weekly Saturday group bike rides. I competed in four races that season and was ready to take on my next challenge which was the 70.3 distance. I knew that I couldn’t go at it alone, so I reached out and got some professional help. Coach Martha was AWESOME to work with. She was incredibly flexible with regard to my crazy work schedule and always made time for me. The program that she drew up for me capitalized on my strengths and helped me improve in other areas. Not only did Martha do an amazing job with preparing me physically for the 70.3 distance, Martha made certain that I was prepared emotionally. She was there for me every step of the way."

Dynamic-Training"Before I began working with Martha I had two speeds in my training; high and off. Even though I was successful in my ultra distance cycling events, I was plagued with injuries and Motrin became part of my race fuel. When I committed to the 2008 Race Across America (RAAM) as part of a 4-person mixed team, I knew it was time for some help and Martha was everything I hoped for and so much more. She successfully developed a plan that increased my speed and strength, but above all, on that fit into my always changing schedule. She was so perceptive and diligent about engaging in my daily training summaries. She always stayed one step ahead of me, and don't think you can slide anything by her! I am amazed at the results and peaked at just the right time for RAAM. I felt strong and fast the whole way throughout the 7 days. I took 1 hour off of my time in the Nightmaretour course (180 miles of hills) - and most importantly , injury free. This year (2010) we won the 4-person mixed category for RAAM in 6 hours, 11 days and 16 minutes! Martha is genuine, constantly engaged, amazing and above all ... committed to your success!"

Dynamic-Training"I’ve been running competitively for over 20 years, and I first started working with Martha after I did two sprint triathlons, since I had no idea how to train effectively for biking and swimming. In just a couple months Martha helped me improve my triathlon performance substantially, and her coaching has also led me to my fastest running times of the past 10 years. Even more important, she did this with a training program that has left me feeling stronger and healthier, not beaten down, and one that takes into account the other demands on my time (job and two small children). I was fortunate to have some great running coaches in high school, college and beyond, but I’ve never received the benefits of such an individualized training program that takes into account my specific strengths and weaknesses. Martha has a knack for designing workouts that build my confidence by pushing me farther than I would have thought possible, but she’s always right about what I can do. And she is very smart about designing rest and recovery to help me reap the benefits of those workouts. I’ve never enjoyed training and competing this much!"
